Kent Bespoke Carpentry has worked across the county for fifteen years, taking the carpentry on a project from end to end: the structural first fix, the second fix that finishes a room, and the bespoke joinery in between.
The carpenter who measures a project is the carpenter who builds and installs it, so there are no hand-offs and one point of contact throughout. We work directly for homeowners and alongside builders and main contractors on larger projects, and we are fully insured.
How we work
Surveyed and fixed-priced
Every project is measured and drawn before it is priced, and the quoted figure is the figure you pay.
One team, every stage
First fix, second fix and bespoke joinery handled by the same carpenters, without three separate trades to co-ordinate.
Finished and handed over
Consistent joints, clean lines and a tidy site, with a final inspection walked through before the project is signed off.
What we make
The structural carpentry that goes in before plastering: stud partitions, floor joists, roof carcassing, noggins, door linings and window boards. Getting this stage square and level makes every trade that follows more straightforward.
Doors hung and adjusted to close cleanly, skirting and architrave cut and mitred to a consistent line, stair parts, loft hatches and kitchen installation. The stage that determines how finished a room actually looks.
Recessed television and fireplace walls with lit display niches, concealed cabling and painted or veneered finishes, designed around the proportions of the room rather than a standard unit size.
New softwood and hardwood flights, replacement treads and risers, and glass or timber balustrades, measured on site and made to suit awkward landings and existing openings.
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes, alcove units and under-stair storage, designed around what needs to go inside them rather than around a standard carcass.
Structural timber pergolas, covered outdoor kitchens and bars, decking and slatted screens. Treated timber on properly set footings, built to stay square through a Kent winter.
